Location. The Westgate Lakes Universal Studios Area resort is located in Orlando, Fla., two miles from SeaWorld. Universal Studios Orlando is three miles away, and the Walt Disney World Resort is four miles from the property.

Features. Set on 100 acres, the resort features a lake, seven heated outdoor pools with spa tubs and tennis courts. The resort offers equipment for tennis, basketball, soccer, football, mini golf, horseshoes, shuffleboard, sand and water volleyball, ping pong and bocce ball. The miniature golf course features a pirate theme. A fitness center is available for a daily fee. Papillon the Spa features a full range of rejuvenating spa services, such as the Aloe & Sweet Orange Hydrating Cocoon and the Papillon Experience's light massage techniques and mud-bath treatment. The fee for use of the spa facilities includes use of the fitness center. Scheduled activities for children of all ages and adults include crafts, games, pool parties, fishing tournaments, dive-in movies, aerobics and bingo. Meals from the kid's menu at the Westgate Smokehouse Grill, which offers breakfast and dinner, are complimentary for children with a paying adult. The property also offers a Pizza Hut with delivery service and Sid's Deli. Four pool complexes feature poolside bars. The Marketplace grocery store at the resort offers grocery delivery service before arrival. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. The resort offers complimentary scheduled transportation to three major theme parks: Walt Disney World®, Sea World, and Universal Orlando. Schedules and pick-up locations can be obtained at the front desk. Pets are not allowed at the property.

Guestrooms. Accommodations at the Westgate Lakes Universal Studios Area include 27-inch televisions, DVD players, sofa beds and breakfast bars.
